A gym for the mind. Patterns are the equipment.

Most apps train one skill at a time. Alice strengthens what transfers across all of them.

What is Alice™?

Alice is not just another educational app. It’s a Pattern Gym built on the PrimeSense visual language. Each prime number has a unique color. 2 is blue. 3 is red. 5 is yellow. 7 is green. Composite numbers appear as combinations of those colors, making the hidden structure of every number visible at a glance.

In Alice that visual language comes alive. The clock face becomes a pattern exploration surface. Numbers reveal their prime structure through color. Musical notes map to those same colors. Rhythm connects to both. Your child is not switching between math and music. They are seeing the same pattern from two different angles at the same time.

That experience, seeing the connection rather than being told about it, is where real learning happens.

A note before your first session. Alice is a full cognitive training environment, not a beginner app. The interface contains multiple layers of the PrimeSense system simultaneously because it was designed to grow with a learner across months and years rather than weeks. If it looks complex on first opening, that is because it is. The depth is intentional. What we recommend for your first session is below.

Ten minutes a day. A completely different way of seeing the world.

Alice: Pattern Gym is an interactive app where math, music, and rhythm connect through the PrimeSense visual language. Your child does not study in Alice. They discover.

First Session Guide

When you open Alice for the first time with your child, the full interface will be visible. Do not try to explain everything at once. Instead, do this.

Step 1: Tap the drill icon at the top of the screen.

This opens the simplest and most structured entry point into Alice.

Step 2: Start with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Alice always begins here. The song is familiar, the tempo is forgiving, and the two-handed pattern is manageable for a first session.

Step 3: Watch, do not explain.

Let your child tap along. Do not tell them what the colors mean. Do not explain the prime number system. Just let them play. The colors will start to make sense through experience faster than they ever would through explanation.

Step 4: After the session, ask one question.

Not what did you learn. Ask: what did you notice?

That question, and the answer your child gives, is the beginning of pattern thinking.

The full Alice interface will reveal itself naturally over multiple sessions. Each layer becomes readable as the previous one becomes familiar. This is how perceptual learning works.

Three things that transfer far beyond this app.

What Alice Builds

Focus That Holds

The modern world fractures attention by design. Alice restores it. Through rhythmic repetition, calm and steady, never rushed, your child develops the ability to hold one thread and follow it. Not forced concentration. A natural settling in that homework, tests, and real life all demand.

Coordination That Connects

Math is not just numbers. Music is not just sound. Language is not just words. They are all patterns. Alice helps your child feel how they connect by engaging eyes, ears, and hands simultaneously. When the whole mind works together, learning stops feeling like effort.

Confidence That Lasts

Most apps reward speed. Alice rewards presence. No leaderboard. No countdown timer. No penalty for slowing down. Your child moves at their own tempo. And when they solve a pattern because they felt it, not because they memorized it, that confidence does not fade when the screen turns off. It is theirs to keep.

How It Works

Each Alice session is a short rhythmic journey through the PrimeSense clock. Your child taps, listens, and watches as numbers reveal their color structure and musical notes map to those same colors. Patterns repeat, build, and connect across math and music in a single experience.

No quizzes. No grades. No pressure. Just your child, a pattern, and a rhythm they get to make their own.

The science behind this is called perceptual learning. It does not happen through instruction. It happens through structured, repeated exposure to the right patterns until recognition becomes automatic. Ten minutes a day is enough. The daily rhythm is the point.

Three steps to get started:

  1. Download Alice from the App Store.
  2. Spend ten minutes a day exploring patterns through rhythmic play.
  3. Watch focus, coordination, and confidence build naturally over time.

*Alice is actively being updated. The next version will include a guided first session that walks new users through the PrimeSense symbol system before the full interface appears.

If you download Alice today and find the opening screen complex, that guided experience is coming. In the meantime the first session guide above will get you and your child started in the right way.

Built for Families, Not Just Kids

This is not a hand them the iPad and walk away app.

Alice is an invitation. Sit with your child. Watch them find the pattern. Let them teach it to you.

That moment when your child explains something they just discovered is worth more than any test score. We call it shared rhythm. You might call it your new favorite ten minutes of the day.

Alice works for curious kids and creative thinkers. For the child who does not like math but cannot stop drumming on the table. For dyslexic learners who think in patterns rather than symbols. For math-anxious adults rediscovering what got lost somewhere along the way. For families who believe learning should feel like play.

"When hands, eyes, and ears work together, the brain becomes faster and more efficient. Alice™ engages all three in concert to build memory, fluency and pattern sense."

Don Ariel, Founder

Why Patterns Matter

Patterns are the foundation of everything:

  • The multiplication tables your child struggles with.
  • The rhythms of music they tap their feet to.
  • The language structures they use to tell stories.

Alice helps your child see these patterns as one connected whole. When they feel the
rhythm inside numbers, music, and words, learning becomes natural, joyful, and lasting.
